Text Tool

The text tool is used for placing text in a document. One text object can have several different font sizes and typefaces.
Start entering text by clicking with the left mouse button and typing. Backspace, Delete, Return etc. have the effect you might expect.
Use the justification menu [k] to change the justification of the current line to left, centre, or right justification (obviously this only has effect on multi-line text objects).
Select the font used with the font dialog [u]. The first typefaces are PostScript ones, and the LaTeX fonts are at the bottom of the list. Enter a suitable size for the text. You do not need to close this dialog to change font, as the changes are automatically accepted. When you make a change, the next text you type will be in that font.
Sorry, you can't change the font of existing text. Text can be edited as normal by selecting the text object.
